“ I found Clare to be an incredible mentor and coach, totally committed to improving your professional life. Clare helped me to stay focussed and provided me with the skills to develop a clear vision on where I was going, and map out how I would get there. Clare also enabled me to start thinking differently about my leadership style and skills, and as part of the process supported me to identify my values and motivations. Clare’s support as a coach and mentor enabled me to get through some really difficult and challenging times in my year as President and meant that I finished in a positive frame of mind, being able to recognise my achievements and have renewed confidence. I found the coaching sessions a really positive and rewarding experience and really valued the professional relationship that we created during that time. We have stayed in touch since and hope to work with Clare more in future.” Fiza Ikram (University of Salford Students’ Union President 2014 – 15)
